Tiny Mead Makers

Made for 8 Bits to Infinity Mundane Jam: Decay.

Fermentation is one of the more fun forms of decay, and making mead is a mundane activity I enjoy, so I thought it would be a good topic for this game jam.

It was hard to make a fun game out of the human part of mead making in a week, so in this game you play as the yeast: eating sugar and making alcohol, eating nutrients to make more yeast, eventually being overwhelmed by the amount of alcohol.

In real life you need to sanitized everything beforehand but in a game some abstraction makes things more fun.

Traditional mead is made with just honey, water, and yeast.  Melomel is mead with fruit. Sack mead has a high concentration of honey.
